Swift A-Frame Features The Swift A-Frame bullet is built with a bonded front core and a partitioned rear core a construction method that controls expansion to roughly 2.2 times the bullet s original diameter while retaining more than 95 percent of its weight after impact. In .338 Win Mag this 250 grain jacketed soft point leaves the muzzle at 2570 fps and carries 3668 ft-lbs of energy giving hunters the penetration and knockdown power needed for large and dangerous game at practical hunting ranges. Because the front and rear cores are bonded and partitioned separately the bullet mushrooms reliably in the front while the rear core continues driving straight-line penetration through heavy muscle and bone. This makes the A-Frame a trusted choice among hunters who cannot afford a bullet failure on a once-in-a-lifetime animal. Each round uses a reloadable brass case and a boxer primer giving handloaders the ability to recover and reuse the brass for future loading sessions. Twenty rounds ship in each box giving hunters enough ammunition to sight in a rifle and still head afield with a full magazine and spares. The round s ballistic coefficient of 0.347 helps it retain velocity and resist wind drift better than many conventional soft point designs at comparable weights. Swift A-Frame .338 Win Mag ammunition is available for sale at GrabAGun for big game hunters who want proven deep-penetrating terminal performance.
