Swift A-Frame Features The Swift A-Frame bullet s jacket and core design starts with a soft semi-Spitzer lead nose running the full length from tip to base which shields the bullet from recoil while chambered in a magazine fed rifle. The pure copper jacket tapers at the tip and that taper is what gives the bullet controlled expansion regardless of the velocity at which it strikes game. At the base of the core a second taper builds the momentum needed for deep penetration on tougher game animals. This 175 grain .284 inch diameter bullet is sold in 50-count boxes for reloaders building their own 7mm hunting ammunition. What sets the A-Frame apart is its wraparound jacket at the base of the bullet which locks the core in place and keeps the bullet from losing weight or shedding material on impact. This retained weight is what allows the bullet to punch deep into vital organs even after passing through heavy muscle and bone. Reloaders who hand load their 7mm rifle ammunition can count on this bullet to perform consistently from one load to the next thanks to its jacketed lead construction. For hunters chasing reliable terminal performance on medium to large game the Swift A-Frame remains a proven choice for serious rifle hunting.
