Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp Quad V Features The Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp Quad V is designed to kill vertical movement of the muzzle when firing a threaded 9mm handgun using two large vertical ports to direct gas upward and counteract muzzle flip. Unlike the earlier Quad Comp design this longer version works right out of the box on most pistols without any tuning of the guide rod or recoil spring simplifying installation for shooters building a competition or range gun. Despite measuring 1.44 inches in length its aesthetic design aids in weight reduction so the compensator does not feel cumbersome once installed on the barrel. It threads onto any 1/2x28 threaded 9mm handgun barrel making it compatible with a wide range of popular pistol platforms. Machined from steel and finished in a durable black oxide coating the compensator is built to hold up to repeated firing cycles without excessive wear. Secure tight fitment and easy timing make installation straightforward for shooters setting up their own guns at home. The lightweight lower profile shape keeps the overall footprint of the pistol manageable while still delivering a real reduction in muzzle rise. For shooters building toward an open division style 9mm handgun the Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp Quad V offers a simple effective way to tame recoil and keep follow up shots on target.
