Streamlight Sidewinder Compact III Features The Streamlight Sidewinder Compact III puts out 275 lumens on its white LED with a 113 meter beam distance giving the user a strong primary light source while still offering a low 5 lumen setting for close-up tasks without ruining night vision. A dedicated survival mode extends runtime beyond 100 hours which matters when batteries cannot be easily replaced in the field. Beyond the white LED the light also includes red blue and IR LEDs each with 4 brightness levels and a strobe option letting the user select the right spectrum for covert movement signaling or night vision compatible operations. The 185 degree tilting body lets the beam be aimed precisely while the light stays mounted to a helmet or MOLLE webbing. Built from high-impact super-tough nylon the Sidewinder Compact III is IPX7 waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes and rated for 3 meter impact resistance so it holds up to drops and wet conditions in the field. The light is compatible with existing Sidewinder mounts and accessories making it simple to add to a helmet rail or MOLLE-equipped gear for hands-free use. Its multi-fuel design runs on one AA alkaline or one CR123A lithium battery both included and also accepts a lithium AA battery for reliable operation in extreme temperatures from negative 40 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. A multi-function push button keeps control over every mode simple even while wearing gloves.
