Snugpack Basecamp Ops Sleeper Extreme Features The Snugpack Basecamp Ops Sleeper Extreme uses an Isofibre fill made from highly siliconised synthetic fibres giving the bag a soft touch and a longer lifespan than traditional fibre filled sleeping bags. A Draft Collar and Snugfit Hood seal in warmth around the neck and head which matters most when temperatures drop toward the bag s 10 degree Fahrenheit low rating. The anti-snag two-way zipper with zip baffle lets users vent the bag or fully close it without the fabric catching mid-zip a small detail that saves frustration in the dark or cold. Reinforced foot lining adds durability in the area that sees the most wear from boots and repeated use. At roughly 74 ounces and measuring 87 by 31 inches the bag packs down to a manageable 12 by 10 inch size with its included compression stuff sack making it easy to transport for car camping or basecamp trips. Hanging dry tabs allow the bag to be hung up for airing out or drying between uses helping maintain the Isofibre fill s loft and warmth over time. Built to the same construction standards as the rest of the Snugpack lineup this Olive colored bag is an ideal introduction to Snugpack s performance range at a manageable pack size and weight. It is well suited to hunters and campers who need genuine cold weather protection without stepping up to a premium four season bag.
