Smith and Wesson M&P Compact OTF Features The Smith and Wesson M&P Compact OTF deploys its 1.9-inch spear point blade with the push of a button giving users fast one-handed access in situations where speed matters. The blade is machined from AUS-8 steel a material known for holding a solid edge while remaining easy to resharpen in the field. A plain edge keeps the blade versatile for everyday cutting tasks rather than being limited to rope or cordage work. This combination of blade steel and edge geometry makes the knife a practical daily carry tool. The handle is constructed from grey aluminum giving the knife a lightweight yet rugged feel that stands up to daily use. At 5-3/5 inches overall length the M&P Compact OTF is sized to be comfortable in the pocket without sacrificing blade performance. Its compact automatic mechanism makes it an easy knife to carry and deploy quickly whether for utility tasks or personal protection. Anyone looking for a small fast-opening OTF knife from a trusted name in firearms and knives will appreciate this compact design.
