Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 Performance Center Carry Comp Features The Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp centers on the Performance Center s PowerPort system a strategically vented section at the muzzle end of the 3.1 ported stainless steel barrel that redirects propellant gas upward as the slide cycles. That redirected gas counteracts muzzle rise keeping the sights flatter through recoil so a shooter firing the .380 ACP chambering can deliver faster more accurate follow-up shots. The barrel itself wears an Armornite finish for corrosion resistance under the hard use a daily carry gun sees. A flat-faced trigger with a crisp consistent break rounds out the shooting experience letting the shooter manage the press precisely during a defensive draw. An aggressively textured redesigned slide gives more surface area to grip and rack under stress whether the hands are sweaty gloved or cold. Blacked-out Ameriglo Protector sights pair a square-notch rear with a LumiGreen front night sight so the sight picture stays fast and legible in both daylight and low light. The stainless steel slide carries a Satin Aluminum Cerakote finish over the Black Multicam pattern giving the pistol a distinctive broken-up look that stands apart from a plain black carry gun. With no manual thumb safety a slim textured grip and both a 10-round and a 12-round magazine in the box the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp is built for concealed carriers who want Performance Center engineering in a truly pocketable everyday defensive pistol.
