Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec M3 Solar Features The Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec M3 Solar builds its reliability around a dual power system pairing a top-mounted solar panel with a CR1620 battery to stretch operating life out to roughly 20 000 hours. That combination means the sight is far less likely to go dark at an inconvenient moment since the solar cell offsets battery drain whenever the optic is exposed to light. The 3 MOA dot reticle is sized for quick target acquisition at the short to medium ranges where a pistol-mounted red dot earns its keep and automatic brightness adjustment keeps that dot crisp and visible as ambient light shifts between indoor and outdoor conditions. Unlimited eye relief and a fully enclosed emitter design let the shooter find the dot quickly without worrying about debris or moisture reaching the internal optics. Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in matte black the M3 Solar is built to survive the recoil and rough handling of daily carry and duty use backed by an IP67 waterproof rating and a 3-foot drop rating. It is rated to run on firearms chambered up to .45 ACP giving it a wide range of compatible host pistols. The sight mounts directly to Weaver and Picatinny rails and also fits pistol slides cut to the RMSc footprint giving shooters flexibility across both long gun and handgun platforms. The Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec M3 Solar is for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want a tough self-sustaining enclosed red dot that keeps running well beyond a typical battery s service life.
