Shadow Systems Magwell Kit Features The Shadow Systems Magwell Kit is engineered specifically for the DR and XR 920 pistol frames flaring the grip s base to funnel magazines into the well more smoothly during a reload. This kind of flared magwell is a popular upgrade among competitive and duty focused shooters because it reduces the margin for error when inserting a magazine under time pressure. Since the kit is built to the exact dimensions of the DR/XR 920 frame it installs with a factory matched fit that preserves the pistol s original lines and grip feel. Shadow Systems notes the kit does not fit other manufacturers frames reflecting the precision of its design around the 920 platform specifically. The kit includes the magwell itself along with a magwell plug and pin giving owners every part needed to complete the installation without hunting down separate hardware. Having the plug and pin bundled with the magwell simplifies the upgrade process and ensures a clean finished look once installed. For shooters who run the DR or XR 920 in competition or for duty use faster and more consistent magazine insertion can make a meaningful difference under pressure. The Shadow Systems Magwell Kit is available for sale at GrabAGun for 920 platform owners seeking this functional upgrade.
