Rock River Arms LAR-15M CAR A4 Features The Rock River Arms LAR-15M CAR A4 pairs the familiar AR-15 manual of arms with the straight walled .350 Legend cartridge a combination popular with hunters in states that restrict traditional rifle calibers for deer hunting. A carbine length gas system cycles the action reliably and the 16 inch cryo treated stainless steel barrel with a 1:16 twist rate is matched to stabilize the bullet weights typically loaded for this cartridge. Threaded 1/2x36 and fitted with an RRA Operator muzzle brake the barrel helps tame recoil and muzzle rise for faster follow up shots. A forged aluminum A4 flat top upper receiver sits atop a forged aluminum RRA LAR-15 lower giving the rifle a traditional rugged AR-15 foundation. The RRA two stage trigger equipped with a winter guard for use with gloves offers a crisp predictable break that helps shooters place accurate shots at range. A 13 inch extended lightweight free float M-LOK handguard allows accessories to be mounted without affecting barrel harmonics and a collapsible CAR buttstock lets the shooter adjust length of pull for a proper fit. At an overall length of 36.5 inches and a weight of 6.8 pounds the rifle remains maneuverable in the field or around a stand. Rock River Arms ships the rifle with a 10 round magazine and an included hard case giving hunters and shooters a complete ready to hunt .350 Legend package made in the USA.
