Rivers Edge Safety Rope Features The Rivers Edge Hunting Products Safety Rope spans 30 feet of polyester cord giving hunters enough length to stay tethered from the base of the tree all the way up to a treestand platform. A Prusik knot rides along the rope sliding freely as the hunter climbs or descends but cinching down instantly the moment a sudden load is applied. This mechanism means a hunter is protected from the instant they leave the ground until the moment they return closing the gap where many treestand accidents occur. The polyester construction resists abrasion and stretch keeping the rope reliable climb after climb. Finished in a black and green color scheme the rope blends into tree bark and foliage rather than standing out as bright hardware against natural cover. Rated to hold up to 300 pounds the rope is built with a safety margin that covers the vast majority of hunters along with their gear. Assembled in the USA and backed by a one year manufacturer s limited warranty this rope reflects a commitment to quality construction that hunters can trust with their safety. For treestand hunters who want continuous fall protection without added bulk this safety rope from Rivers Edge is an essential piece of gear.
