Rig Em Right Mainline Series Blackouts Features The Rig Em Right Mainline Series Blackouts take advantage of a simple proven tactic: ducks appear black on the water from a distance and an all-black decoy stands out more than naturally colored decoys. Rig Em Right still believes in beautifully painted decoys but has found that adding Blackouts into a spread is an extremely effective way to increase visibility and draw birds in. This makes the Blackouts a strong complement to an existing decoy spread rather than a full replacement. Hunters can run a full spread of Blackouts late in the season or mix a few in for better overall visibility. Each decoy is constructed from durable HDPE plastic built to withstand repeated exposure to water cold and rough handling throughout the season. This 6-pack includes two upright drakes two low head drakes one upright hen and one low head hen giving a naturalistic mix of postures across the set. That variety in body position helps the spread read as more lifelike to approaching birds rather than a uniform block of silhouettes.
