Radical Firearms Forged Features The Radical Firearms Forged rifle starts with forged mil-spec upper and lower receivers a construction method that offers greater strength and tighter tolerances than cast or billet alternatives. The upper includes an M4 feed ramp and a forward assist with a dust cover to keep debris out of the action both details that matter for reliability in field conditions. A 16 inch barrel with a 1:7 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 and .223 Rem bullet weights while the mid length gas system meters gas more smoothly than a carbine length system for softer recoil and less fouling. A .750 low profile gas block and a mil-spec A2 flash hider round out the barrel assembly controlling muzzle flash during low light shooting. A 12 inch M-LOK handguard with a top Picatinny rail gives shooters a free floated platform for mounting optics lights and other accessories exactly where they need them. The B5 Systems Bravo stock and Type 23 pistol grip provide a more ergonomic grip angle and adjustable length of pull compared to standard mil-spec furniture improving control during rapid fire strings. The rifle ships with a single 30 round magazine giving the shooter a full capacity load right out of the box. At 6.8 lbs and finished entirely in black this Radical Firearms build offers a dependable accessory ready AR-15 for home defense range training or general purpose use.
