Quaker Boy Grand Old Master Features The Quaker Boy Grand Old Master box call is built from a Dick Kirby original design drawing on decades of calling expertise to produce authentic varied turkey vocalizations. The poplar bottom is selected for its resonance giving the call a full carrying tone that can reach turkeys at a distance across open fields or timber. Paired with a cherry paddle the two wood species work together to create the friction and pitch combination that defines the Grand Old Master s sound. This pairing lets hunters produce everything from soft yelps to louder cutts and cackles with practice. As a friction call the Grand Old Master requires no batteries or electronics making it a dependable option that will not fail due to dead batteries or moisture damage in the field. Its wood construction gives it a classic traditional feel that many turkey hunters prefer over synthetic call options. Being designed by Dick Kirby a respected name in competitive and field turkey calling adds a level of trust to the call s performance and tone quality. For turkey hunters who want a proven old-school box call the Quaker Boy Grand Old Master is ready for the spring woods.
