Ol Man Tree Stands Big Daddy Jaw and Truss Features The Ol Man Big Daddy Jaw and Truss Ladder Stand is built around two patented systems that set it apart from a standard ladder stand. The Clamp Down Jaw System locks the stand tight to the tree before the hunter ever climbs providing a secure confidence-inspiring base from the very first rung. The Truss System eliminates the metal-on-metal noise common to ladder stands while also opening up new setup options including offset trees that a straight ladder could not otherwise reach. Constructed from steel and aluminum with a black oxide finish the stand is built to stand up to repeated seasons in the field. Comfort features include a Textilene seat with soft molded EVA foam cushion padded armrests and a flip-up adjustable shooting rail that locks into position for a stable rest. An adjustable footrest helps hunters stay comfortable through all-day sits while water resistant seat covers attached to the backrest help protect the seating area from the elements. The stand offers a full-size 18 inch by 25 inch foot platform and a 21 by 16 inch seat giving hunters plenty of room to shift position quietly. Rated to hold 300 lbs and weighing 76 lbs to carry in the Big Daddy ships complete with a full body harness for a ready-to-hunt elevated setup.
