Nobel Target Features The Nobel Target Handicap shotshell is built specifically for trap shooters competing from the longer handicap yardages where pattern density and consistent velocity matter most. Each 2.75 inch 12 gauge shell sends a 1-1/8 ounce payload of number 7.5 lead shot downrange at 1265 fps striking a balance between pattern density and manageable recoil for repeated shooting. The heavier 1-1/8 ounce payload compared to lighter clay loads gives shooters a bit more margin for error on targets that have traveled further from the trap house. A dependable 209 primer provides consistent ignition shot after shot supporting the repeatability that competitive trap shooting demands. Housed in a low brass plastic hull this shell is purpose built for clay target disciplines rather than field or hunting applications. Number 7.5 shot strikes a useful middle ground between the denser patterns of smaller shot and the extended range performance of larger pellets making it a popular choice among handicap trap competitors. Packaged 25 rounds per box the Nobel Target Handicap line gives shooters a consistent supply for both practice sessions and tournament day. Trap shooters looking for a dependable higher payload option for handicap yardages will find this load a solid fit for their game.
