Muddy MTX Insulated Boot Features The Muddy MTX Insulated 17 inch Boot is rated for comfort from negative 60 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit placing it squarely in the category of extreme cold-weather hunting footwear. Its construction pairs 5mm neoprene with hand-crafted vulcanized rubber a combination that resists aging over repeated seasons while naturally trapping and retaining body heat. That same construction also helps control odor an important feature for hunters trying to remain undetected during late-season pursuits. With 1 600 grams of Muddy insulation packed specifically into the toe boxes this boot delivers substantial additional warmth exactly where cold is felt first. The 17 inch calf pipes roll down when needed and are designed to accommodate tucking pant legs inside for a cleaner more weatherproof fit during harsh conditions. Integrated into the footbed is a 4 inch steel shank that keeps feet supported through long days standing or walking in the field. A rugged rubber outsole provides 4x4 traction helping hunters stay sure-footed across frozen ground ice or uneven terrain in any weather.
