MOmarsh Mark Dog Training Bumper Features The MOmarsh Mark Dog Training Bumper is built from rugged flexible foam that holds up to repeated bites drops in water and daily training sessions without breaking down. The material is tasteless which keeps dogs focused on the retrieve rather than the texture of the bumper in their mouth and it is machine washable so handlers can keep it clean between sessions in the field or at home. Its mark white coloration is chosen deliberately to be easy for dogs to identify and track during marking retrieves helping reinforce the marking skills that are foundational to retriever training. The floatation built into the foam ensures the bumper stays visible and recoverable on the surface of ponds and lakes. The pentagon shape of the bumper serves two practical purposes beyond comfort in the mouth keeping it from rolling once it lands and allowing several bumpers to stack together for easy carrying and storage in a training bag or truck bed. At 9.625 inches long and 1.875 inches in diameter the medium size suits a wide range of dog breeds and mouth sizes used in upland and waterfowl retrieving work. Weighing only a quarter pound the bumper throws easily for long marking distances without being a burden on the handler s arm over a long training day. This bumper is a dependable affordable training aid for handlers building strong marking fundamentals in their retrievers.
