Midwest Industries Handguard Sight System Features The Midwest Industries Handguard Sight System replaces the factory sighting setup on a Henry .44 and .45 lever action with a heavy duty steel ghost ring rear aperture and a steel front sight post both built for fast target acquisition. Wide windage and elevation adjustment range lets a shooter fine tune their point of impact to match different ammunition loads something the factory sights on a lever gun typically cannot offer. An included sight adjustment tool makes those changes simple without needing separate gunsmithing tools. The system is also screw in front sight compatible giving owners flexibility to further customize their sight picture. Constructed from hard coat anodized 6061 aluminum this handguard is built for a lifetime of service while keeping weight down at 15.5 ounces across a 13.625 inch length and 1.64 inch width. A full 16 inches of top Picatinny rail runs the length of the handguard giving plenty of real estate for mounting a red dot light or laser alongside the iron sights. One 5 slot M-LOK rail section is included for additional accessory mounting and a forward mounted sling swivel accommodates conventional hunting slings. Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty this system does not work with dovetailed front sights octagon barrels or brass receivers so Henry owners should confirm their rifle s configuration before installing this upgrade.
