Magnum Research Barrel Features The Magnum Research Barrel is machined from steel and finished in a bright Polished Chrome that gives the Desert Eagle MK XIX a distinctive eye catching appearance. At 6 inches in length and chambered in .50 Action Express it delivers the platform s signature power and recoil impulse that Desert Eagle shooters favor for range use and big bore handgunning. A Picatinny style accessory rail runs along the barrel s top giving owners a stable mounting point for red dot optics lights or lasers without any additional gunsmithing. This factory direct barrel is built to the same tolerances as the original equipment barrel ensuring reliable cycling once installed. Installation is designed to be straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic firearm maintenance following the steps outlined in the Desert Eagle owner s manual. Shooters moving from a .357 Magnum barrel configuration will need to also swap the bolt assembly to match the new .50 AE chambering a detail worth planning for before ordering. Because Magnum Research offers this barrel in a range of finishes and lengths owners can tailor their Desert Eagle to a specific look or performance goal over time. For Desert Eagle MK XIX owners looking to add caliber flexibility or simply refresh their pistol s finish this Polished Chrome .50 AE barrel is a dependable factory upgrade.
