Lapua Scenar-L Features The Lapua Scenar-L load pairs the purpose-built 6.5x47 Lapua cartridge with a 120 grain Scenar-L open tip match bullet engineered for high ballistic efficiency. With a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.497 this bullet resists wind drift and retains velocity well at extended distances an important trait for 300 meter match shooting. Muzzle velocity of 2772 feet per second generates 2053 foot pounds of energy while still delivering notably light recoil letting shooters stay on target through strings of fire. The 6.5x47 Lapua cartridge itself was designed in 2005 specifically around the dimensions and performance of Scenar bullets giving this pairing inherent accuracy advantages. Each round uses boxer-primed brass that is fully reloadable letting competitive shooters recover and reuse their cases to control long-term ammunition costs. Supplied in a 50-round box this ammunition gives shooters enough rounds for a solid practice session or match day without running short. Since its introduction nearly two decades ago the 6.5x47 Lapua has expanded well beyond its original competition role into other precision shooting disciplines where its combination of accuracy and manageable recoil is valued. For 300 meter competitors and precision rifle shooters alike the Lapua Scenar-L offers a proven purpose-built combination of cartridge and bullet.
