Kick s Gobblin Thunder Choke Tube Features The Kick s Industries Gobblin Thunder uses a conical parallel design combining a typical cone of constriction with a roughly 1 inch parallel section rarely found in other chokes where the constriction is held constant to stabilize the shot column before it leaves the muzzle. Exclusive directional diagonal ports angled 135 degrees away from the shooter grab and slow the wad to speed its separation from the shot column producing cleaner patterns unaffected by a trailing wad. Those same ports reduce muzzle jump and felt recoil helping shooters stay on target for faster follow-up shots when needed. The 135 degree port angle also cuts down on side blast compared to chokes with ports at 90 degrees or less a real benefit calling turkeys from a tight blind. This choke carries a .640 restriction sized specifically for 12 gauge Remington threaded barrels converting a mild-mannered field gun into a dedicated turkey hunting specialist. The external ported section extends roughly 1.75 inches from the muzzle but is not noticeable during normal shooting. Finished in black the Gobblin Thunder has proven itself with two wins at the NWTF still target shoot in Atlanta and two wins at the NWTF Ladies Open Competition along with a Jakes competition win. For Remington 12 gauge turkey hunters looking for tighter more consistent patterns the Kicks Gobblin Thunder is for sale at GrabAGun.
