Kick s Gobblin Thunder Features The Kick s Gobblin Thunder is built for Mossberg 835 and 935 shotguns and uses a helicodynamic interior geometry that is said to be more efficient than a purely concentric choke tube at managing lead shot as it travels down the bore. Standard chokes can force lead shot to flow sideways under constriction which causes inconsistent patterns and increased felt recoil and the extended length of this choke is designed to counteract that tendency. By giving the shot column more distance to stabilize before leaving the muzzle the choke helps throw significantly more lead shot down range in a useful pattern. This matters directly to turkey hunters who need dense consistent patterns at extended distances for an ethical effective shot. Finished in black and sized to a .670 constriction the Kick s Gobblin Thunder is purpose built for the Mossberg 835 and 935 Accu-Mag 12 gauge platform ensuring a correct thread fit without adapters. The added length also helps prevent lead shot from escaping unevenly during the shot which further tightens the resulting pattern on the target. For hunters who already run a Mossberg pump gun in the turkey woods this choke is a direct drop in upgrade over the factory option. Pairing dense patterns with proven helicodynamic design the Gobblin Thunder gives 12 gauge Mossberg shooters more confidence at the ranges turkeys are typically taken.
