Kaw Valley Precision Flash Hider Features The Kaw Valley Precision Flash Hider is designed to work with ASR mounting systems letting shooters pair flash suppression with the quick attach quick detach convenience of an ASR equipped suppressor. Its .500 inch bore means it can be run on any caliber up to that diameter giving it broad compatibility across many common rifle platforms. Machined from 17-4 stainless steel the flash hider is built to withstand the heat and pressure of sustained firing without losing its shape or function. The 1/2x28 thread pattern matches the most common muzzle thread found on AR-15 pattern rifles and similar platforms. A black Nitride QPQ finish protects the flash hider from corrosion and wear while giving it a durable low-maintenance surface. At 2.05 inches overall length it adds minimal length to the muzzle while still delivering meaningful flash reduction in low light shooting conditions. This combination of stainless steel construction and ASR compatibility makes the flash hider a solid choice for shooters planning to run a suppressor down the road. Anyone building out an ASR equipped rifle will find this flash hider a durable versatile muzzle device.
