Kaw Valley Precision Konza Rev2 M-LOK Handguard Features The Kaw Valley Precision Konza Rev2 M-LOK Handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum a material prized in the AR market for its balance of strength and light weight. The free float design isolates the handguard from barrel contact which helps maintain accuracy by preventing the handguard from influencing barrel harmonics. M-LOK accessory compatibility allows direct attachment of rail sections lights and other accessories without the extra bulk of a quad rail system. Accessory rails can be mounted at the 3 6 or 9 o clock positions giving builders flexibility to position gear exactly where they want it. A top mounted Picatinny rail spans the 12.5 inch length of the handguard providing a continuous mounting surface for optics or other top mounted accessories. The handguard includes a proprietary barrel nut system that simplifies installation and helps achieve consistent timing with the top rail. Finished in black hardcoat anodizing it resists wear and corrosion through repeated use and handling. At a total weight of 10.6 ounces including the barrel nut this handguard gives AR builders a lightweight durable free float rail option.
