Higdon Outdoors Battleship Mallard Features The Higdon Outdoors Battleship Mallard decoys use foam filling to stay unsinkable giving hunters confidence to shoot without worrying about damaging the spread. A weighted keel allows for quick and easy setup and the keel design permits short stringing in shallow water conditions. Swivel heads give each decoy multiple pose options adding natural variation across the entire spread for a more convincing presentation. Flocked drake heads provide extra texture and realism that catches a duck s eye even at longer distances. This six-pack variety set mixes two upright head drakes one low head drake one feeder drake one low head hen and one feeder hen so the spread reads as a naturally feeding and resting flock rather than identical repeated silhouettes. The mix of upright low head and feeder poses mirrors how real mallards behave on the water which helps break up the uniform look that spooks wary birds. Because the foam-filled bodies ride high and stable even in choppy or current-prone water the decoys hold their pose and keel orientation through changing conditions instead of rolling or swamping. Built around Higdon s durable flocked construction and weighted keel system the Battleship Mallard pack is a ready-to-deploy foundation decoy spread for hunters looking to add realistic variety to their waterfowl rig.
