Higdon Outdoors J Weight Features The Higdon Outdoors J Weight is shaped to clip directly around a decoy s keel letting hunters attach an anchor in seconds without fumbling with loops or clips in cold wet conditions. That fast attachment is especially valuable during run and gun style hunts where hunters need to set a spread quickly and move on if the birds are not working. A rubber stretch cord connects the weight to the decoy line and that same elastic cord keeps the anchor snug against the decoy during transport rather than swinging loose and causing noise or tangles. At 4 ounces each weight provides enough holding power to keep a standard decoy in place against wind and current without adding excessive bulk to a decoy bag. This 12 count pack supplies enough J Weights to anchor a solid run and gun spread without needing to purchase multiple smaller packs. Having a full set of matching weights also keeps a hunter s gear organized since every decoy in the spread can use the same anchor system. The compact lightweight design of each weight means a full set does not add significant weight to a blind bag or boat. For waterfowl hunters who value quick setup and dependable holding power the Higdon Outdoors J Weight is a simple effective accessory for any decoy spread.
