Higdon Outdoors Legacy Magnum Mallard Features The Higdon Outdoors Legacy Magnum Mallard decoy was redesigned from beak to tail by a world champion decoy carver resulting in a body shape and feather detailing meant to capture realism and emotion that catches a duck s eye from altitude. The magnum body measures 16 inches from tip to tail in the upright drake position giving the decoy strong visibility across open water and fields. A proprietary UV paint process is used to achieve the iridescent green color scheme on the drake s head and this paint is engineered to resist fading and hold true color across repeated exposure to sun and weather. Extreme visibility and Hyper XD feathering add high-contrast detail that helps the decoy stand out and draw birds in for a closer look. Each decoy uses a one-piece foam-filled body construction that provides durability against impacts during transport and setup while keeping the decoy afloat and stable on the water. A forward-weighted keel is built in to make rigging simple and keep the decoy oriented correctly in wind and current. At 1.7 lbs each the decoys are substantial enough to resist tipping while still being manageable to carry and deploy across a spread. Sold as a 6-pack the Higdon Outdoors Legacy Magnum Mallard brings decades of decoy design refinement to serious waterfowl hunters shopping at GrabAGun.
