Higdon Outdoors Legacy Magnum Mallard Features The Higdon Outdoors Legacy Magnum Mallard was redesigned from beak to tail by a world champion decoy carver resulting in a body shape and posture that captures the realism and subtle emotion of a live mallard. The decoy s proprietary UV paint process produces an iridescent green color scheme on the drake that remains vivid and eye-catching across changing light conditions throughout the day. This extreme visibility and high-contrast feathering help a spread stand out to passing birds at distance pulling their attention down into range. The one-piece foam-filled body construction gives the decoy bulletproof durability that withstands rough handling transport and storage season after season. At 16 inches from tip to tail on an upright drake this magnum-sized decoy is noticeably larger than standard decoys adding visual impact to a spread from a greater distance. A forward-weighted keel is built into the design for easy stable rigging on the water without requiring additional weighting. Each decoy weighs about 1.7 lbs thanks to the foam-filled construction giving it enough heft to stay put in wind and current while still floating naturally. Sold six to a pack the Higdon Outdoors Legacy Magnum Mallard is available at GrabAGun for hunters looking to build out a realistic durable decoy spread.
