Higdon Outdoors Standard Canvasback Features The Higdon Outdoors Standard Canvasback uses Higdon s legendary foam filling which means hunters never have to worry about a decoy sinking if it takes a stray shot a real advantage over hollow-bodied alternatives. Multiple extra-wide body postures and head positions add life and visibility to any diver hunting spread helping incoming birds commit with confidence. Being slightly undersized compared to a live duck makes these decoys lighter and more packable ideal for hunters covering ground to reach a public hunting spot. The self-righting forward-weighted keel ensures quick easy setup regardless of water depth and Higdon s keel clip system allows simple short stringing in shallow water. Higdon s proprietary UV painting process and deep carving technique highlight individual feather detail and minimize unnatural glare even when the decoys are wet from rain or spray. This paint resists peeling and fading so the decoys maintain their realistic look across many hunting seasons rather than needing replacement after just one or two. The six pack includes two upright drakes two resting drakes and two resting hens giving a spread natural variety in posture and gender mix. As a Ducks Unlimited Official Licensed Product a portion of every purchase supports wetland conservation efforts that benefit waterfowl habitat for generations of hunters to come.
