Glock FM 81 Features The Glock FM 81 is built around a 6-1/2 spring steel blade hardened to approximately 55 HRC a hardness level chosen to balance edge retention with the toughness needed to resist chipping during hard field use. The drop point blade shape provides a strong tip for piercing tasks while keeping a broad cutting edge for general purpose work. An electrophoretic coating is applied to the blade adding a layer of corrosion resistance that helps the knife stand up to moisture and outdoor exposure over time. A serrated edge section gives the blade added capability for cutting through tough or fibrous materials that a plain edge alone would struggle with. A sturdy saw integrated into the back of the blade extends the knife s utility well beyond cutting giving outdoorsmen a built-in tool for cutting small branches or notching wood without carrying a separate saw. The black polymer handle is molded for a secure dependable grip in a variety of conditions and the knife ships with a matching polymer sheath for safe convenient carry. At 11-2/5 overall length and 7.13 oz the FM 81 strikes a practical balance between a compact fixed blade and a knife substantial enough for demanding field tasks. Backed by a manufacturer s 1 year warranty and made in Austria the Glock FM 81 is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters and outdoorsmen who need a dependable multi-function fixed blade.
