Franklin Armory Prevail Features The Franklin Armory Prevail is built around the TRC action a controlled round feed design that manages each round through the entire feeding and extraction cycle for dependable function. Its 24 inch fluted stainless steel barrel is cut with a 1:8 twist rate to stabilize 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles for accuracy at distance while the fluting reduces weight without sacrificing rigidity. The one-piece SBN coated steel receiver carries an integrated recoil lug and a 20 MOA Picatinny rail giving shooters a stable mounting platform for long-range optics right out of the box. A tri-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw and user-interchangeable bolt heads lets shooters service and customize the action without specialized tools. The Prevail s lightweight carbon fiber stock follows a Remington 700 pattern keeping the rifle compatible with a wide range of aftermarket chassis and stock options while shaving weight for field carry. Integrated swivel sling studs and a Limbsaver recoil pad round out the stock making long days on the range or in the field more comfortable. The fully adjustable trigger breaks between 1.25 and 4 pounds letting shooters dial in a crisp pull suited to hunting or precision shooting. Feeding from detachable AICS pattern magazines including the 10-round unit it ships with the Franklin Armory Prevail delivers a flexible purpose-built platform for serious long-range shooters.
