Evolution Outdoors Picatinny Scope Base Features The Evolution Gun Works Picatinny Scope Base is machined from domestic 6061 T6 extruded aluminum giving it the strength and dimensional consistency needed to hold zero under recoil. Its true Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rail interface accepts standard Picatinny rings and mounts opening up a much wider range of optic mounting options than a proprietary factory base. The base is made specifically for the Tikka T3 and T3/Lite action so the screw spacing and contour match the receiver without any fitting or modification. A 3.245 inch center spread and 7.458 inch overall length give the rail enough mounting surface to accommodate a variety of ring positions for different scope lengths. The silver anodized finish matches the natural finish of many Tikka T3 rifles while protecting the aluminum base from wear and corrosion. Hex head screws and a wrench are included so installation requires no additional hardware beyond what ships in the box. Because the base is made in the USA it is produced to consistent tolerances for a reliable repeatable fit from unit to unit. The Evolution Gun Works Picatinny Scope Base gives Tikka T3 owners a straightforward way to move to a full Picatinny optics setup.
