Eley Tenex Features The Eley Tenex pellet is built to match grade standards with each 8.2 grain pellet held to a precise 4.50mm diameter for consistent chambering and flight. Eley has built its reputation on manufacturing tolerances tight enough for Olympic and world-class competition and that same quality control carries through to the Tenex line of .177 caliber pellets. Consistency from pellet to pellet reduces the variables a competitive shooter has to account for letting the shooter s own technique and the rifle s inherent accuracy determine the result rather than ammunition variance. This makes the Tenex a trusted choice among serious target shooters who need every pellet to perform identically. Packaged 450 to a container the Tenex gives dedicated shooters enough rounds to work through extended practice sessions or multiple competition stages without needing to restock mid-event. The .177 caliber sizing is the standard for most competitive air rifles and pistols making the Tenex broadly compatible with match-grade airguns already in a shooter s collection. Because match performance depends on repeatable pellet weight and diameter Eley s manufacturing consistency gives shooters confidence that each pellet in the tin will behave the same as the last. For shooters chasing tighter groups and better scores the Tenex remains a proven option.
