DeSantis Speed Scabbard Features The DeSantis Speed Scabbard is molded in genuine leather specifically to fit the Ruger 57 giving the pistol a precise secure fit that holds it firmly in place during movement. The forward rake design angles the grip for a natural efficient draw stroke which matters for shooters who carry for self-defense or everyday use. Firearm retention is achieved without a thumb break relying instead on the precise molded fit of the leather to hold the pistol securely. This design keeps the draw fast and unobstructed while still providing confidence that the pistol will not come loose during normal activity. The Speed Scabbard attaches to a belt via a sturdy belt loop built to accommodate belts up to 1 3/4 wide giving it compatibility with a wide range of duty and everyday carry belts. Leather construction means the holster will break in over time molding further to the shooter s body and the pistol s shape for an increasingly comfortable carry. The holster accommodates the Ruger 57 whether or not it is equipped with a red dot sight adding flexibility for shooters who have optic-equipped pistols.
