CobraTec Knives CTK-1 Features The CobraTec CTK-1 uses a double action out the front mechanism so a single switch both fires and retracts the 3 inch D2 steel dagger blade without a secondary motion. D2 steel is prized in production OTF knives for holding an edge through hard use while still being practical to resharpen in the field. The dagger grind gives the blade a symmetrical double edge profile that is suited to piercing cuts and emergency tasks alike. A kinetic locking system holds the blade rigid in the open position resisting blade play during use and closing cleanly when the switch is reversed. The handle is built from zinc aluminum alloy and finished in a stonewashed pattern that resists showing scratches from pocket carry. At just 0.72 ounces and an overall length of 8 inches open the CTK-1 carries light while still giving a full secure grip. The reversible pocket clip rides tip down and can be moved to the opposite side of the handle so right and left handed carriers both get a natural draw. A built-in glass breaker adds a practical emergency tool to the tail of the knife and the included nylon sheath gives an alternate carry option beyond the pocket clip backed by CobraTec s lifetime warranty.
