CobraTec Knives Kingpin Features The CobraTec Kingpin was designed in collaboration with Hungarian knife maker and former soldier Zoltan Gero to serve as a practical urban defensive blade for everyday carry. The 4 inch D2 steel drop point blade with its 3.75 inch cutting edge and top swedge delivers strong penetration along with excellent general cutting ability for routine tasks. A slight cant to the blade enhances natural hand biomechanics during cutting or thrusting motions without hindering everyday utility use. Top jimping along the spine gives the thumb a secure anchor point when the knife is gripped in a forward hold improving control during more demanding cuts. The handle is built from G-10 with a random texture pattern that maintains grip even when hands are wet and it is shaped to be unidirectional and comfortable whether held in a forward or reverse grip. The rear of the handle provides an aggressive gripping surface that aids retention and allows fast deployment from its included kydex sheath. At an 8 inch overall length the Kingpin is sized to be carried concealed while still offering the cutting performance of a larger blade. For an everyday carry knife built with genuine defensive use in mind the CobraTec Kingpin is available for sale at GrabAGun.
