Browning Reactar Recoil Pad Features The Browning Reactar Recoil Pad uses Technogel material engineered specifically to reduce peak felt recoil at the shoulder during repeated shooting. An individual tower and gap design inside the pad allows the gel to travel and deform on impact spreading recoil energy across the pad rather than concentrating it at one point. That construction further improves shock absorption compared to a solid foam pad of similar thickness. Lightweight Technogel construction means the pad adds cushioning without adding noticeable bulk under a shirt or vest. The pad is sized to slide directly into the shoulder pocket found in compatible Browning shooting vests making installation and removal quick between rounds or seasons. Its thin profile is engineered so it does not affect length of pull once installed preserving the shooter s existing gun fit and mount. That combination of recoil reduction without a fit change is especially valuable for competitive clay shooters who cannot afford to alter their stock measurements. Anyone shooting a high volume of rounds through a Browning shooting vest will appreciate the added shoulder comfort this pad provides.
