Black Rain Ordnance Spec 15 Features The Black Rain Ordnance Spec 15 runs on a direct impingement operating system with a salt bath nitride coated bolt carrier group a combination chosen for smooth cycling and long-term corrosion resistance. The 16 4150V chromoly barrel is paired with a low profile non-adjustable .750 gas block for consistent gas flow shot after shot. A mil-spec G.I. trigger and forged charging handle keep the manual of arms familiar to anyone who has run an AR-15 before. The 15 M-LOK slim handguard gives the rifle a trim profile that is easy to grip and accessorize for lights slings or bipods. Finished in Cobalt Cerakote over its forged aluminum receivers the Spec 15 stands out visually while gaining the corrosion resistance Cerakote finishes are known for. The rifle ships with a G.I. grip and XTS stock for a familiar adjustable fit along with a 30-round magazine soft case and range bag included in the package. On top a Picatinny rail carries the included Zero Tech Trace red dot putting a ready-to-use optic on the rifle from the first trip to the range. For shooters who want a complete 5.56 AR-15 package rather than a bare rifle requiring separate optic purchases the Spec 15 delivers everything needed in one box.
