Bergara Rifles Competition Rifle Features The Bergara Competition Rifle pairs a 26 inch barrel chambered in 6mm GT with a fast 1:7.5 inch twist rate giving shooters the stability needed to run heavy high ballistic coefficient bullets favored in precision rifle competition. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accommodates a wide range of muzzle brakes and suppressors letting competitors tune recoil management to their preference and keep the rifle settled through follow up shots. The Graphite Black Cerakote finish over the barreled action provides durable corrosion resistance through repeated handling and transport to and from matches standing up to the wear that comes with a demanding practice and competition schedule. Housed in a Blue Titanium MDT ACC Elite chassis the rifle offers extensive adjustability for length of pull and comb height letting shooters dial in a consistent repeatable position behind the rifle no matter their build or shooting stance. A 10+1 capacity AICS pattern magazine feeds reliably during fast strings of fire a critical feature for competitors running timed stages where a missed feed can cost a match. The two-position thumb safety allows quick deliberate control transitions without unnecessary complexity during a match keeping the shooter focused on the stage rather than the controls. At 13.5 pounds the rifle carries the substantial weight precision shooters expect from a dedicated competition platform helping to dampen recoil and keep the reticle on target between shots for faster more consistent follow up sight pictures.
