Bergara Rifles Competition Rifle Features The Bergara Competition Rifle pairs Bergara s Premier barreled action with components selected specifically for the demands of precision rifle competition. A heavier No. 7 profile stainless steel barrel is stiffer and more stable under sustained fire than a lighter sporter contour helping the rifle hold its zero through long strings during a match. TriggerTech s Special trigger uses patented Frictionless Release Technology to eliminate creep and heavy pull weights delivering a world class trigger experience that competitors can rely on shot after shot even in rugged conditions. The 26 inch threaded barrel cut to a 1-in-7.5 inch twist is built to maximize the accuracy potential of the 6mm Creedmoor cartridge at distance. The MDT ACC Elite chassis is the number one chassis in PRS competition backed by countless podium finishes among thousands of competitors worldwide. A full length ARCA forend on the ACC Elite chassis allows fast easy adjustments and compatibility with a wide range of bipods and rests while a tunable weight system and fully adjustable ergonomics let shooters dial in balance and control for consistent hits under pressure. An integrated Arca Swiss rail includes a screw hole for a standard camera tripod adapter letting the rifle slide smoothly during positional shooting or mount easily to a tripod. The rifle feeds from a single included 10 round MDT magazine matching the reliable feeding competitors expect in a match environment. At 13.5 pounds the rifle carries the weight typical of a dedicated PRS platform trading portability for the stability that heavier rigs provide on the clock. For competitors who want a factory rifle built with the same components found in custom competition guns the Bergara Competition Rifle in 6mm Creedmoor delivers genuine match ready performance.
