Alps Mountaineering Gaze Features The Alps Mountaineering Gaze Fire Pit uses a stainless steel mesh body that promotes efficient airflow keeping coals glowing red hot while burning cleaner and producing noticeably less smoke than a traditional fire ring. Sturdy metal construction with locking legs holds the pit firmly in place during use preventing wobble or tipping as logs shift and burn down. Despite its durable build the pit weighs only 8 pounds and supports up to 135 pounds of wood giving campers a surprisingly capable fire solution in a lightweight package. No assembly is required so the pit is ready to use straight out of its carry bag at the campsite. An included heat-resistant groundsheet protects most surfaces underneath the pit making it practical for use on grass wood decking or other sensitive ground. Because the stainless mesh dissipates heat rapidly after the fire dies down the pit can be packed away for travel much sooner than solid metal alternatives. Everything stores together in a convenient carry bag keeping the pit organized and easy to transport between camping trips. Backed by a one-year limited warranty the Alps Mountaineering Gaze Fire Pit gives campers a durable portable way to enjoy a campfire wherever they roam.
