Salt spray, sun, and rain take a toll on a display that sits out in the open, and the Garmin 16 in Protective Cover gives a compatible GPSMAP device a hard plastic shield when it is not in use. The cover fits over the screen of a 16 inch GPSMAP unit and helps keep the harsh marine environment off the glass between trips. When you are ready to head out, take the cover off and the display is clear and ready to use.
