The Buck 790 Mini Range Pro is a compact folding pocket knife developed for everyday carry, routine utility work, and outdoor tasks where a lightweight cutting tool is preferred. This black variant pairs a 2.625-inch drop-point blade with a glass-filled nylon handle, keeping the knife practical for pocket carry without sacrificing the secure construction expected from Buck. The blade is made from 154CM stainless steel and uses a flat grind, providing a versatile cutting profile for common jobs such as opening packaging, trimming cord, preparing materials, and making controlled cuts around camp or the jobsite. Buck applies its BOS heat-treating process to the Range Pro's 154CM steel, which offers a useful balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and straightforward maintenance. The knife measures 3.625 inches when closed and weighs only 1.9 ounces, making it easy to add to daily gear without unnecessary bulk. Its crossbar lock is designed for smooth, ambidextrous operation and allows the blade to be closed without placing the user's fingers directly in its travel path. A removable and reversible deep-carry pocket clip supports either left- or right-side carry and positions the folded knife discreetly in a pocket. The black glass-filled nylon handle contributes to the knife's low weight while giving the Mini Range Pro a clean, modern appearance. With a blade thickness of 0.090 inch, the knife maintains a slim profile that complements its compact dimensions. Built in Post Falls, Idaho, the 790 Mini Range Pro combines Buck's American knife-making experience with a modern crossbar-lock design, premium blade steel, and a carry-friendly format suited to users who want dependable daily utility in a smaller folding knife.Specifications and Features: 2.625-inch drop-point blade with flat grind 154CM stainless steel blade 0.090-inch blade thickness Black glass-filled nylon handle Crossbar locking mechanism 3.625-inch closed length Removable, reversible deep-carry pocket clip Product Weight: 1.9 oz Made in the USA Brand: Buck Knives Series: 790 Mini Range Pro Product Type: Folding Pocket Knife Manufacturer Part Number: 0790BKS1-B UPC: 033753169144
