The GKR-10MS is specifically designed as a 10-inch drop-in fit MLOK rail for Bulgarian SAM7 and most 1.0mm stamped AKM style Kalashnikov rifles equipped with short-style sling loops. It requires a factory-style front handguard retainer for installation similar to how factory handguards are mounted. Users have the option to attach KVAR style stainless heat shields for enhanced protection and can continue using their factory cleaning rod. The total weight including all necessary hardware is 5.9 ounces. This rail is not compatible with other rifle types or brands and does not accommodate PSA rifles due to their distinct cast front handguard retainer. Key features include an anodized black finish a weight of 12 ounces and dimensions of 11 x 3.5 x 3.5 inches. It is tailored for rifle types such as SAM7 and 1.0MM stamped models. The GKR-10MS fits the Bulgarian SAM7 falling under the handguards and forends subcategory with an M-LOK description.
