Geissele Automatics was established in 2004 as a manufacturer of trigger mechanisms for the AR-15 rifle. Rely on Geissele when you expect superior performance quality and reliability. The AR-15/M4 Super Precision (05-381S) Desert Dirt Finish scope mount is optimized for use with an AR-15/M4 upper. The mounting surface spans 7 picatinny sections and utilizes 4 shear lugs. These mounts use Geissele's update of the classic nut and bolt method for clamping the mount to the picatinny rail which is the most secure method of attaching your scope to your weapon. Each nut and bolt combination provides 1 400 pounds of clamping force much more than any lever mounting arrangement.Features / SpecsManufacturer Number: 05-381SSuper Precision AR-15/AR-10/ LR-308 scope mount30 mm RingsExtended distance: 1.16"Mounting surface spans 7 picatinny sections and utilizes 4 shear lugs1 400 pounds of clamping forcePrecision machined from a single piece of 7075-T6Mounts to any Picatinny style RailTorque value should not exceed 6 footpounds or 72 inch-poundsWeight: 7.2 ozColor: DDC - Desert Dirt Color FitsOptimized for use with Mil-Spec AR-15AR-10/LR-308 upper receivers
