The CZ 457 American in .22 Mag epitomizes the classic American-style rimfire rifle with a blend of traditional design and modern enhancements. Featuring a 24.8-inch cold hammer-forged barrel this rifle is designed to deliver exceptional accuracy and durability. The barrel comes without sights and is intended to be paired with a scope taking full advantage of the 11mm dovetail milled into the receiver for easy scope ring attachment. The Turkish walnut stock is beautifully crafted with a high flat comb and a classic checkering pattern offering both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. This design ensures a comfortable and stable shooting experience making it ideal for precision shooting. A notable improvement in the CZ 457 series is the American-style push-to-fire safety a feature highly requested by Hunters Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches. This safety mounted on the receiver enhances user confidence and handling safety. Additionally the action has been refined by reducing its length by almost an inch and slab-siding it which decreases the overall footprint and weight of the rifle. The transition from the stamped bottom metal of the 455 to a sophisticated two-piece interlocking system in the 457 series signifies a leap in quality and functionality. The bolt rotation has been adjusted from 90deg to 60deg facilitating the use of larger ocular bell diameters with lower ring heights thus simplifying scope fitment. The adjustable trigger allows fine-tuning for weight creep and over-travel providing a customized shooting experience. Equipped with the same swappable barrel system as the 455 and a reliable polymer magazine system the CZ 457 American ensures versatility and consistency. The 5-round magazine capacity suits a variety of shooting applications from target shooting to small game hunting. Designed for right-handed shooters the CZ 457 American comes with a blued metal finish adding to its classic appearance. The steel receiver and integral 11mm dovetail make it ready for scope mounting enhancing its adaptability and precision. Overall the CZ 457 American in .22 Mag is a refined and reliable rifle that combines traditional aesthetics with modern improvements making it an excellent choice for shooters who value quality craftsmanship and performance.
