Product Description
From park laps to side hits and powder stashes, Seth Hill designed the Lightchaser for riders who see the whole mountain as their playground. A staple of Colorado’s Flow State Crew, with a career spanning more than a decade, Seth has competed at the highest level, stacked up award-winning video parts, and evolved into a respected voice in modern snowboarding. This is Seth’s shape, ridden into being over full seasons in the Colorado backcountry, not drawn up in a meeting. It’s a directional twin freestyle weapon that blends creativity, control, and all-mountain versatility: perfectly mid-flex, backcountry camber, with a cutout in the tail to help stomp those deep backcountry landings. Backcountry camber runs camber tip to tail, easing from 4.8mm to 4.3mm through the middle: a locked-in edge on firm snow, stability when you open it up, and real pop off every side hit and lip. Underfoot, a lightweight poplar and paulownia core delivers a responsive, balanced feel, reinforced with tip-to-tail carbon stringers for added snap and stability when things speed up. Triax glass with flax binding pads smooths chatter and adds durability, while a TPU topsheet and sintered Durasurf 4001 base keep it fast and built to take a beating. Designed with Seth’s style in mind, this is the board for pressing, sending, and finding features everywhere on the mountain. The graphic is an original from Colorado artist Brian Henry, painted for this board and no other. Inspired by the wolfpack of Seth’s family, the story goes beyond his family to extend to the whole shred community as Seth aims to get more kids on snow. 1% of every sale goes to SOS Outreach, which has put kids on the mountain through outdoor mentorship since 1993. Seth is running on-snow days with SOS riders this season, so this board sends someone up the hill, not just a check in the mail. Designed in Colorado, Manufactured at GP87 Artwork by: Brian Henry
