Vortex Defender-ST 3 MOA Micro Red Dot The Vortex Defender-ST is an all-purpose micro red dot built for handguns, shotguns and offset mounting on a carbine. Its large, hard-coated aspherical lens gives a distortion-free sight picture with true colors, and the bright red 3 MOA dot is quick to pick up on the draw while staying precise enough for longer shots. Whether it rides on your everyday carry pistol, a duty gun or a turkey shotgun, it is built to take daily abuse. Built for Hard Use A ShockShield polymer insert protects the housing against hard, daily impacts, and Fast-Rack texturing on the face lets you rack the slide off a belt, boot or barricade. The battery loads from the top, so you can swap it without removing the optic or losing your zero. The Defender-ST is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Always Ready Motion activation wakes the dot as soon as the gun moves, and a 10-minute auto-shutoff saves the battery when it sits still. The CR2032 battery is rated for about 25,000 hours at setting 6. You get 12 brightness settings: 10 daylight-bright levels for fast acquisition in full sun and 2 night vision compatible settings. Easy to Mount The Defender-ST uses the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, so it fits any slide cut for a DeltaPoint Pro. A Glock MOS adapter plate and a Picatinny mount are included, along with the most common mounting screw sets.
