Riton Optics 3-9x50 Riflescope, SFP Duplex Reticle, 1-Inch Tube The Riton Optics 3-9x50 is a variable-power riflescope with a 50mm objective lens, a 1-inch tube and a second-focal-plane duplex reticle. The 3-9x range provides adjustable image magnification within clearly defined limits. For a buyer comparing scopes, the objective size, main-tube diameter and reticle layout each describe a different part of this configuration. The duplex reticle uses heavier outer sections and a finer central area to create a straightforward aiming reference. Because it sits in the second focal plane, its apparent size remains consistent when magnification changes. The subject image enlarges or reduces with the zoom setting while the reticle retains its visual proportions. The 1-inch dimension describes the main tube, which matters when selecting compatible mounting hardware. The 50mm dimension describes the objective lens, a separate measurement at the front of the optic. Keeping those dimensions distinct helps identify the scope correctly and compare it with the mounting requirements of the intended setup. Key Features Variable magnification: 3-9x adjustment range. Duplex reticle: Heavier outer sections lead toward a finer central aiming area. Second focal plane: Reticle appearance stays consistent as magnification changes. 1-inch main tube: The tube diameter is a separate fit dimension from the objective lens.
